Cooking calculator guide

Find out what cooking soups, salads, pies, omelettes, stews, sandwiches and roasts really earns, with your cities, your focus and the prices you see in game.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Pick the dish

Choose the dish (soup, salad, pie…) and then its variant: classic, fish or Avalonian. The trail on top takes you back a step; so does Backspace.

  2. 2

    Tier, enchantment and amount

Each tier is its own dish, so only the tiers the dish exists in can be picked. Enter how many portions you want: one cook makes a whole batch. Add the station fee: silver per 100 nutrition, set by the station owner.

  3. 3

    Choose the cities

Where you buy the ingredients, where you cook and where you sell. Food is cooked best in Caerleon (+15%), so the calculator starts there. “Best cities” tries every combination and picks the most profitable one.

  4. 4

    Set your account and station

Turn on focus if you spend it, premium if you have it and sell by order if you list. Cooking in a hideout or on a guild island? Turn on “Own return rate” and type your station’s rate.

  5. 5

    Check the prices

Every ingredient, the fish sauce of enchanted dishes and the dish itself show their city and age. Type your own price where one is missing or wrong; clear the field to go back to the market price.

  6. 6

Read the result and compare tiers

You earn, you invest, ROI and return rate sit on top; the breakdown shows every silver. The table runs your setup for every tier and enchantment and highlights the best; click a cell to open it.

Return rate

Cooking gives part of the ingredients back, like crafting. The city bonus for food is +15%, in Caerleon. Without a daily bonus:

  • Any city15.3%
  • Caerleon24.8%
  • Any city + focus43.5%
  • Caerleon + focus47.9%

Batches and fish sauce

  • One cook makes a batchMost dishes come ten at a time from one set of ingredients. The calculator counts portions, so 100 portions is ten cooks.
  • Ingredients come backVegetables, meat, eggs, milk and bread are returned by the return rate, so you buy only what is used up.
  • Enchanted food needs fish sauceDishes .1 to .3 take basic, fancy or special fish sauce on top of the usual ingredients. It is bought like any ingredient and shows its own price.

Tips

Questions

Why is a price missing?

Prices on our servers are only kept while they are recent. Some ingredients and enchanted dishes are rarely traded in some cities. Type the price you see in game and the calculator uses it.

Why does the tier change the dish name?

In Albion every tier of a dish has its own name and ingredients: a T1 soup is carrot soup, a T5 soup is cabbage soup. The calculator shows the dish of the tier you pick.

What is “own return rate”?

Hideouts and guild islands have their own return rate. Turn on “Own return rate” and type the rate your station shows, with focus if you use it.

What is the daily bonus?

Every day after the reset one crafting or refining group gets +10% and another +20% production bonus. When it matches your dish, the calculator adds it for you; you can also set it by hand.
